Hace un par de semanas anunciaron la nueva ruta para el epic del 2009, etapas un poco mas cortas (bien!) pero mas tecnicas (no tan bien!). Eso significa que el tiempo absoluto en la bici sera mas o menos el mismo. El problemas es que mas tecnico significa que tu cuerpo sufre mas, aunque tambien es cierto que mas tecnico y mas trialero es mucho mas divertido que carreteras comarcales!
Estas dos ultimas semanas despues del tour de lesotho han sido mas tranquilas, estoy un poco cansado y con bastante trabajo, aunque todavia estoy entrenando 4 o 5 veces por semana pero menos intensamente. estas tres ultimas semanas despues de lesotho he entrenado unas 20 horas, nada fuera de lo normal, pero me siento mas fuerte que nunca y escalando me siento como si fuera Pantani, como una moto (sin tomar sustancias dopantes claro esta)
Este sabado hago otro tour, esta vez de Johannesburgo a Durban en cuatro dias con una media de 180 km por dia, buen entrenamiento para el epic, en la bici de carrera.
Mi companero del epic Benedikt esta bastante fuerte, mas fuerte que yo creo, este sabado fuimos a Breedt's neck, una subida bastante buena y tuvimos buenas sensaciones, a partir de ahora tenemos que entrenar juntos mas a menudo para llegar a conocernos mucho mejor en la bici y como personas ya que en el epic no hay tiempo para ello y si no hay buen rollo estonces puede ser un desastre.
